Two phone in less than a month

And all we hear now is cash flowing out and so little flowing in. Sobs. I guess its a normal things now that we have an infant/baby/kid/toddler. Previously husband bought a Xiaomi RedMi 5 phone, remember? Guess what, that one particular night, while we were struggling with Harris's illness, it was around 2am at Hospital Ampang, husband's phone suddenly was under headphone mode when no headphone/earphone plugged in. And even after reboot, still the same situation. And it off on its own. That morning too. But that day, that phone seems a bit okay, until husband called me using his colleagues phone (which also happens to be my friend too) saying that his phone cant no longer turn on. Sigh. So that night husband went to the store to claim warranty (plus we dont know what is the main problem, probably the motherboard & such so it can be claimed under warranty). But too bad, when the guy checked, that phone is filled with water.

God knows where the hell the water came from. Seriously, 3 weeks only. But the proof is there, and xiaomi got that one indicator and that indicator inside it shows its broken due to water. It affected the phone's motherboard, screen & total repairing cost would be almost the same price as the phone itself. Bummer. Damaged due to water seepage into phone cant be claimed under warranty because its considered as the user's mistake.

So do we repair it? Nahh. So husband just opted to buy from Celcom. Last time we checked under his name (before we got the Xiaomi), his name is not clear to made purchase. And soon after, we knew that, (after we got the Xiaomi) I can buy it using my name (since my name is clear) and husband can use it. So on Thursday, we went to Wangsa Walk Mall to made purchase. And its urgent for husband to use the phone since we no longer have any back up phones. Sad, is it? I used to have Lenovo, iphone 5 and few other phones I could use for back ups, now all broken already.

We came to know that husband's name is now clear to make a purchase. Wow, so fast. So he purchased it and the seller told us that Celcom is under maintenance & their system is down so husband cant have the phone ASAP even though the phone is ready stock. So, the waiting game begin. We cant cancel the registration. I called to check everyday but only sad news. Husband already gave them my phone number to inform us. Anyways, on Sunday, we went to Wangsa Walk again, to cancel (by hook or by crook), because this time, we thought lets just buy another one somewhere else. And alhamdulillah, the phone is ready. Actually they tried calling us to notify but he called husband's number which is obviously turned off, duhhh well the obvious reasons why husband gave them my number at the first place. Alhamdulillah, Allah moved our heart to come check on the phone. And well, it was quite a line. Many people were waiting to get their phone.

Husband's purchase would be Iphone 8 Plus 256GB, under 2 years contract. No upfront needed because he's been a Celcom user for more than a year.

And yesterday, I was with Harris and our phone was on the bed. I let Harris play around with the phone and know what I saw? He sucked the phone & all his saliva are all over it. Now we know where all the water came from...... Hahaha such a funny story.

So Harris, no more playing with phone okay.

I was scrolling for photos to be made lock screen and I somewhat feel this photo fits the best! Hehe, sorry Harris.

Wasalam. Love, Nina M.
